Re: 2006 Grand Caravan Blower Won't Work

my front blower just stopped working this week too on my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. back was working but not the front. I do not have auto heat controls. Saw this thread and called up Napa for the part and replaced it very easily myself -- cost was $18.99 plus tax. The part # was BR266.

Just squeeze the sides of the glove box, carefully remove the the two screws -- unplus the two harnesses and pop them into the new one. voila!

New post on old thread replaced b motor resistor lasted five days burned out again smelled resistor getting hot right away blower still works when resistor is bypassed think I must need new blower but old one sounds fine when running .On this model 06 grand caravan I don't think I can replace cabin filter so am worried new motor will labour pulling air through plugged filter and burn out resistor what to do?

Your van either has a replaceable filter or NO filter at all. I'd double check to make sure you don't have a filter and replace the blower.
