Re: GT-R Proto Unveiled

Ua no... the VQ are not all v-6 engines... VQ designates that one design team designed that series of block. RB20 RB25 RB26 all the same engineering team and the same basic block/block design. CA18 SR20 different teams but they went in almost the same car... Hum... Do ya get it??? An engine starts with a block... then you say how big the displacement is then you say the valvetrain type then the induction type. I was really hoping for the super raced out version VQ42VDTT but you kids still want the moped then that is what they will put in it. My info says the Vq42dett was a 36 with two more cylinders slapped on and destroked like a son of a bitch to give better rod ratio and higher RPM for the turbos... Can you say 9 grand on stock internals???? No one!!! and I mean NO ONE has seen the true abilities of the new R35. At Nuremburgring you can tell by the sound of the exhaust that it isn't being pushed engine wise and that the red line is a ways to go from where the driver is allowed to put it. They are pushing the suspension and the driver to the abolute limit smoking an S4, and not even pushing the engine hard.

The reason I dig on Road and Track is because they pander to the manufacturers and have for decades. They might as well put out articles of "Why the Prias is such a bad ass car - with a picture of the editor and chief standing on the side of the road with a homeless guy sign that says will say your car is awesome for food" The British "CAR" magazine is about the only honest magazine left. If a car sucks they say so. If it is overly marketed to teens who like shiniy stuff but know nothing about how to change their own oil then they say so. I mean for GOD SAKES!!!! Scion owners spent half a million last month on upgrades!!! Why don't you go and get some bling 22" with spinners on your lawn mower for christ sakes!!! Upgrading a Scion is like getting a fat chicks teeth fixed. My point is that no one is letting all these people with money spend it in areas that actually do a dam thing!!!

And as far as you doing Elmo or what ever the hell that is??? I don't care. This is a post on automotive-forums... I just think you don't know shit about cars.... why don't you go to www.imapussy.com and log some time there??? The people who know about cars are so fed up with tenie boppers who think they know their shit that we don't even bother any more. You go do what you want and I'll stand back here and laugh... I'm not sure if I only said it outloud n the past or if I typed it out for the rest of you...

You are a wanabe. Accept it. Shut the fuck up, and you might just learn something.

Re: GT-R Proto Unveiled

Sorry I was on quite a rant and I mixed the 911 carrera 4 and the carrera GT2. By the way the R35 keeps up with both at the Nurburgring... well actually it spanks the 911 and keeps up with the GT2.

Re: GT-R Proto Unveiled

just because an awd car can keep up with a rwd car on one track doesnt mean it can beat it in a race on every track. and considering the car being used at the ring isnt the production car, it could get a lil help from a lighter body or something.
the gt2 is a very powerful car, the 997 will have around 520hp(good considering the turbo has only 478 in comparison) and the carrera 4 only has around 415hp.
yes i've seen the pictures of the car infront of the porsches and vettes. but relize wen the gtr comes to america, it'll b a japaneese car playing in the realm of many many loyal owners. many people like porsche and porsche only, same with the vette and the viper. the gtr is only really gonna b known by the younger(gaming generation) or a nissan person.
it hasnt been in a car mag for around 6months so people have lost interest.
then add to the mix that wen it comes out, the challenger from dodge will be coming out, and the camaro only a few months later. there will be way to many alternatives to the gtr to make it the best new exotic/sports car in 08, and like i said too many people like wat they have and wont go out and get the gtr.
o and the first yr mite b sold out already, but the first yr is also going to b the test yr, the one with all the lil problems, and not as many cars will b built, since the edsel in the 50's, companies relized if it's different, dnt try to force it out there, just advertise and hope for the best.

Re: GT-R Proto Unveiled

hum... so by your logic then the Mini shouldn't have been such a hit with everyone who wanted a small car that was nimble???

The Skyline GTR R35 will undoubtedly hand every car you referenced it's ass in sales(profit), power and all around performance.

Charger 1/8 lighter with 1/8 more power and twice the driving wheels??? are you stupid??? Skylines are going to eat them for lunch!!! By the time you get a charger to be even remotely compedative then you might as well of just spent the money on a skyline. It is like trying to be compedative with a honda against a WRX... just doesn't work.

Commaro??? copy and paste...

Other alternatives??? You either spend a lot more and get less or you spend less and wish you could get more... Either way I am glad I have a deposit in place because my stock GTR will most likely eat your modded whatever the hell you have for lunch and I don't intend to keep it stock for long... possibly a few days... just enough to get some good baseline data for the teardown and rebuild. The GT-R35 will hopefully even be able to eat the godzilla creations of the past from Sean as well because as much as the Japanese car companies have tried hard to prove the good old proverb of "there's no replacement for displacement" it really rings true when you turbo it... Hell make it a twin!

I can't wait to get thrown off a 1/4 track with a bone stock car for less than 100K!!!

Re: GT-R Proto Unveiled

well i guess either u cant read or u dnt read. i wrote challenger not charger. and the camaro is pretty big news in the automotive world, if u havent heard of it, u should get ur head out of ur ass and look it up.
power over the viper and vette, doubt. the z06 has 505hp, the corvette ss has 600, and the viper has 600, or have u not paid attention to them either.
there are a few different vette's and vipers that would get thrown off a 1/4 track for breaking the 10sec rule, tho that's not the cars fault if thrown off, it's the driver for not having a nhra lisence, or a car that cant pass saftey requirements.
as for dead even performance, the viper is a pure muscle car, not really ment to go around, justs strait, and i believe that as of right now the 05 zo6 holds 2nd or 3rd at the ring, a porsche carrera gt is first.
and i have no idea as to wat ur smoking, but the skyline has awd, the charger has that as an option(tho i dnt think it is now). and if the gtr is to b wat everyone is saying, then the hemi(highest engine in the charger) is going to have around 100hp LESS than that of the gtr.
as for if i boughht a challenger, u better belive that money i saved can go right into it and up power performance and handling.
and based on the last phrase in the 5th paragraph, u dnt know shit about the gtr, make it a twin(a twin turbo) there arent plans for a n/a one, u want n/a go buy a fricken g35. and because of that sentence, i doubt u even have this car on hold

Re: GT-R Proto Unveiled

u much more seem like a kid that's all of 19 or 20, same age as me, but u dnt relize that at this point in ur life(unless ur parents are rich) u dnt have the credit to go out and buy a car, ne car, weather it b a honda civic or a ferrari 430.
trust me i went out last yr, and went to few different saturn dealers, i really wanted a sky, above all a redline, i mean 260hp rwd, cant go wrong with that. a) the waiting list was a yr and a half, a 30000 dollar saturn isnt worth a yr and a half. b) insurance for a 19yr in a 2dr roadster with some balls, not a very good idea for wanting cheap insurance.
i went out and got a 92 dodge stealth r/t tt, 300hp awd and aws, not the greatest car by all means but it does everything i wwant it to, get me to work, get me home, picks up grls. o and it sucks my wallet dry on gas money($60 a fill up)
so if u have this car on hold, prove it, there's got to b a slip of paper that proves u are the person who ordered the car.

Re: GT-R Proto Unveiled

Well well well... I go on vacation for a month and the "specialist" drops a set of "balls"... Has your voice started to change too??? It is so cute when you little boys go through this stage of I AM KING!!! Hear me roar!!!

<<<<crickets making noises... a gentle breeze moves some leaves... a bird tweets off in the distance>>>

But your still a freaking kid who is pissed off that I have put in my time and made my money and you can't get what I can. (Envy is a beautiful thing. It makes the American economy go round... Keep it up kid. I make money off of stupid little brats like you.)

And by the way... although that Carlos Ghosn has stepped down I am pretty sure I am still on the list that "doesn't exist"... for people like you. Money and connections talk, but nothing talks louder than actions in the past. I was giving presentations at the SEMA show when you were still in middle school for Christ sakes!!!

People like you can't get a first gen car because you are a "FUCKING 18 YEAR OLD BRAT!!!" I have already had multiple businesses and racing clubs and TEAMS!!!

You should really start to respect people you know nothing about because you never know who you are talking to. Wake up and realize that maybe you should have gotten good grades in school so that you can go to college for something other than day care and please keep in mind that I won't cry one tear as you bitch that you can't pay cash for an 80k car and that you can't even get a regional manager to talk to you.

At this point I have to thank you for making my day!!! I put in my time and worked my ass off to get to where I am. And I really enjoy saying this because it is true...

I'm glad I'm not you!!!

Now I know that this may sound quite spiteful but I am honestly saying it and I hope that you understand that most of the people who read this forum feel the same thing about you that I do… because if you keep with the attitude you have right now the only thing that will get you to where I am is if your real good a sucking DICK.

Practice this kid... I'll say it really slow for ya so that you can get it...

DO YOU WANT FRIES WITH THAT SIR?

Now practice and repeat for minimum wage... because with your attitude you won't impress anyone… You will only piss them off… and they will only point and laugh at you because you just don’t get it.

I truly hope that you do eventually get it kid, because the world is too small and life is too short for you to think that because you can’t do something then no one else can.

I am tempted to go off on a rant about the fact that I have probably totaled more cars than you have ever driven but then you would probably just counter with some other witty remark that makes you feel better about your position in life but I won’t.

The bottom line is that you need to take a deep breath, look at your life and figure out what you need to do to get where you want to be instead of bitching that you aren’t.

Now back to the Skyline stuff??? Please... I suggest a separate forum is made just for you... I'll see what I can do about getting an "I can't figure out how to plan my life" forum created.

And PS... Ya see over there underneath picture of Bunta... Join Date:2002 I'm 29 and I've been drifting top end cars around the block since before you had a licence to drive your mom's minivan. I've designed stuff for companies ranging from NASA to aftermarket ferrari parts.

O' and if ya think I am going to scan and post my reciept of deposit then you must smoke either some pretty bad or pretty good stuff.

Re: GT-R Proto Unveiled

ok so wat, u came out of the womb in greatness and never worked for a part time shit ass suk up to the boss job. ok then mister hero, but even i doubt that, everyone has to start somewhre.
o u race, how nice, u slide then back of ur car out, then go around a turn, then come out and straiten or go the other way, g i do that when i drive in the snow, good skill to have.
as for what i've driven, never a minivan, unless u count a former bosses that i used to pick up some parts for a car. i've owned a dodge neon(still do) a PORSCHE 924, and i also own a 92 dodge stealth twin turbo. so minivan i think not.
so ur glad u can go out and buy a 80g car. congrats on that ability. when i'm 29 not 20 maybe i will to, or i'll buy a house and have a couple of kids(well the wife will have em) and overall a nice satisfying life.
no i didnt get great grades, and even if i did, that's something good. i did well in mechanical classes, just not english, math, and science. i dont go to college, and when u consider that 70% of millionaires in america never went to college, and 6% never graduated, i dont think i'm in bad company.
i dont plan on saying do u want fries with that, i've had it said to me tho.
my life plan, up my death(and including burial) move to atlanta, work for UPS, then get a job working for PANOZ(car company, if u dont know) then do a few racing skools, get a lisence, and work my ass off, much like u, to get wat i want in life, and wen it's good, i'll reward myself with something, tho it wont b a gtr, maybe a 911 turbo(i bought that 924 and ever since have loved porsche).
maybe i said there's no list as sarcasm, kinda hard to pick up in writing, that an i have no interest in buy an r35, so i havent even gone to a nissan dealer, never even steeped foot in one yet in my life, and the way it's going, i never will, no infiniti
