VW 2276cc Engine
I have a sand rail with a 2276 cc engine and electronic ignition. Yesterday while driving my tachometer began to bounce then the engine died. I have been having some electrical issues like the head lights quiet working without worning and the relay begins to buzz. I finally re-wired the head lights KC's to the battery since I could not figure out the wiring that was in place. If I inadvertantly snipped a sensor wire to the fan what would happen? I replaced the spark plugs about 2 months ago. The fan belt has the proper flex in it so it is not pulsing causing electrical issues. Could the KC's be drawing too much power from the battery? Or is this just that the distributor and ignitor need to be replaced?
