Driverside window switch
The driverside control window switches operates on all windows except for the front passenger side window. The control on the passenger side works. I had checked all the connections on the switches & sometimes it will work & after driving without operating the windows the said window will not operate again & only on the driverside switch. Is the windows are connected to the car computer? How can I check the switch just to make sure prior to buying a new one. The new switch is pretty expensive.
I will appreciate any respond. Thanks |

Re: Driverside window switch
Same thing happened on my camry, there's a spring inside it that wears out. Mine would work, but you had to pull it hard. Eventually it developed a short inside.
But you could probably just get one from a salvage yard cheap. It's easy to switch them out. |

Re: Driverside window switch
Thank you, You are right... what I did is swap the other window switches (they are same switch except for the one on the driver side) and it work..the switch in question is broken and have loose contact points.
