93 ZJ 4.0L Ignition Coil Accel Super Coil
I have owned my Jeep since new. I have never replaced the ignition coil. My Jeep now has about 200,000 miles. Im thinking of replacing the ignition coil as my Jeep sounds like it has difficulty starting up. It always starts just sounds weak doing it. The battery and battery connectors are all new and I have a new alternator. So I know all these things are good. I also just completed a full tune up including new spark plug wires.
Im wondering if I should buy a new stock ignition coil or go with a high performance aftermarket one like Accel Super Coil. There is only a small price difference between the two so I dont mind going either way. Is there any benefit to going with the Accel one? Thanks. |

Accel might give you a little more spark, and that usually doesn't hurt. As long as it's compatible I'd go for it.
