Yamaha Blaster Advice Needed

88 Blaster, just put a TORS eliminator kit on it, now without the TORS on there, it won't idle when the throttle lever switch makes contact (fully released). Now, looking at the ignition wiring diagram in the book, the throttle switch, and the TORS are the only 2 wires coming out of the control unit, so I unplugged the control unit and the bike runs great! Has anyone installed one of these kits, is this the right way? The instructions said nothing about this.

Re: Yamaha Blaster Advice Needed

Well if it runs great then it runs great...i'm not too familiar with bikes in that particular year, I would just look on some yamaha forums to answer this better...there are some smart yamaha gurus out out there that could answer it much better than I...
