Smile Nissan Altima 2005 Cruise Control - Installation

Hi Guys,

I have been searching all over the internet but i cant find a proper answer, so here goes.

I have a nissan altima 2005 2.5 Ltr car, its pretty much basic, standard automatic, power windows, central locking.

what i really would like is a cruise control option on there, i have seen another nissan altima with cruise control and stuff there.

My question is.. has any one ever tried to take cruise control parts off the market and install them in a nissan altima ? i am not talking about the after market cruise control kits. i mean the original cruise control kit of nissan altima . will be really thankful if anyone can refer me some sources.

With newer cars the various computers are very integrated with what features and options the car was built with. Trying to retrofit your car with something as seemingly simple as OEM cruise control could get very expensive very quickly, and may never work quite right.

The much less expensive, and probably more safe and reliable approach, would very likely be to go the aftermarket route. If you or someone you know is good with automotive wiring, the installation can look quite good.
