Power Window Regulators/Motors
Look at the fun I'm going to have over the holiday weekend... I get to install new regulators/motors into my wife's truck!
I spent a couple hours last weekend trying to fix the window only to find a broken (rusted) cable. I ordered the entire regulator/motor from A1 Auto for $99. I'll take some photos to post of the work in progress for anyone else who needs to do the same thing.

It's a real simple job- only looks complex. We get them done in just about 10-15 minutes now. (After doing only a ba-zillion.)
A realistic time is about 40 minutes or so for a first timer. Just take our time, and be careful of the VERY sharp edges. (I still get a couple small cuts just about every time I change 'em) Good Luck - You'll do just fine. |
