sleeper question
So I'm in the market for a sleeper. I live in Nebraska and the cops get bored and profile w/e they can lol. To put that in perspective I just sold a 95' red Bonneville with tint and 17" rims and the cops were always on my ass. Anyways I've always kindof thought of the sleeper as having a sortof grace in itself and I've been thinking about what would make a good one? I was thinking about a Mitsubishi Diamante would make a great sleeper, or a early 90's late 80's BMW. I just want it to have an aesthetic appeal ya know. Not like some station wagon with a 350 under the hood kindof thing.
The price range would be 5 to 6 grand, that doesnt include the mods.

Re: sleeper question
95+ Accord V6
I got my 95 ex V6 around 100K miles, leather, sunroof, etc great condition. 120k miles now no probs, honda gives free tune ups for 95-97 accords. I got it for 5 grand in NJ. If you want better than that you can go suck on a lemon. P.S you can shift the auto from 1-4, 0-60 mph around 7 seconds. |

Most of nebraksa is uneventful so they jump at everything they can. You might be lucky and live in an easygoing town but chances are if your speeding theyre gonna be on you. Just be safe and drive the limit trust me i lost 270 dollars because of speeding

Re: sleeper question
Okay. I'm in Omaha and there should be enough crime downtown to keep cops busy. Although I did see this one dude that got pulled over, he DID have a huge ass intercooler on his eclipse.

Re: sleeper question
Turbo Dodges (Spirit R/T, Le Baron, etc) The Spirit is pretty quick stock...high 5's for 0-60 and high 14's in the quarter mile. Mods are cheap for them too
Chevy Caprice with the LT1. Almost any truck... *Edit* Volvo 850 T5-R if you can find one |

Re: sleeper question
I'm in Omaha Nebraska as well. I haven't had any cops give me any trouble here thus far. He seems in smaller towns it gets a lot worse though. A Grand Prix GTP is a great sleeper and they can be made fast for cheap. Where exactly in Nebraska do you live?

Re: sleeper question
If youve ever been to eagle raceway, I used to walk to work there from my house. Otherwise I live about 15 miles outside of Lincoln.
And that volvo doing a 60 mph roll is badass dude lol that makes me want one alot. Thanks for the tip.

Re: sleeper question
Ha, I just saw a 850 T5-R ( kind of a bannana yellow) driving down Dodge street in Omaha. I guess that goes to show that there are some around here you could start looking for.
