GOD HAS TOUCHED ME
and not in a sexual manner this time!

its 3:00pm, i've just awoken from my slumber with the biggest of grins spreading from ear to ear, instantly turning into a frown and a deep feeling of dissapointment and loneliness... why? you ask?

because i just awoke from getting my first road bike...

thats right.. and i wasnt flying through the streets at 200kmh in and out of lanes etc.
it was my first ride, id just sat on the bike and looked over all the controls and guages, quickly getting used to what was in front of me. i reached out for the starter button with a hand shaking so badly i had to pause and take a deep breath to do it..
as it kicked into life, my heart started throbbing twice as quickly and my whole body began to shake, not from the small 250cc vibrating my ass but from the adrenaline rush my body recieved, like it was saying thank you for reuniting it with a 2 wheeled piece of machinery once again..

man it felt good to be back on a bike, even if was only in my dream! but we all know how real it feels when you dream of falling through the sky

point to the story?? yeah there is one..
getting a AUD $4,500 loan on monday (3 days from now) for a AUD $3,250 gsx250 Across with enough money left to buy some decent gear

today, is a good day

I was driving my daily driver, '00 VW Beetle, shit this thing is probably made of kevlar and carbon fiber, hehe. Her car was a '99 Ford Contour, which was kinda messed up in the front after hitting me in the back.

Lyndon, that indeed is a good wet dream.

That your 250 is slow as my lady bug? Or that I should consider running you over with it when next time I'm in OZ?

woohoo. sydney has had rain for three days straight. (we are in the middle of a drought and have water restrictions)

so for the first time in a year i get to use my wets and see how my baby likes to handle in the wet. not real good down low. because of the FI probs down at 3000rpm. she gets to a point and has a sudden burst and spun up the other afternoon. woo hoo

I had the plastic holder, but the first owner I guess took off the flower. So when I bought it pre-owned, my dad decided to put a yellow one in there.

Re: off topic/ place to chat version 1.2

hey guys, put my application for a $4,500AUD loan in today! fingers crossed that it all goes well

went and had a look at some bikes today, sat on a couple gsx250 across', and a couple cbr 250's.. my mate was hooked on the sportyness of the cbr250rr's and even started looking at helmets that matched the painjob *rolls eyes*, but, i was quite happy with the way the Across felt, got my mate to hold it upright while i had a real good seat on it and was very impressed with the comfort...

will have bike by this friday, going for licence this wednesday and thursday!

today is a beautiful day....

woohoo. i've got all fingers crossed for you. i'm a fan of the baby blade over the suzuki but i do like the storage of the across. can't wait for you to get something.

side note been riding in the rain. its so much fun when it gets slippery. don't have to go fast for the adrenalin rush.

sold my house and moved in with in-laws while we build. now we live on acreage outside sydney. 80km/hr zone for 10k's and its all corners.
