JVC Head units

How good is a lower end jvc head unit? Ive bought 2 in the last 6 months and have fried both after they sounded like crap and then got an alpine and have only had memory reseting problems which i think is in my wiring, has jvc low end models been known to do this or no, just curious

Re: JVC Head units

well, the first was when i was hooking up my rear 6 by 9 explods, it fried 15 minutes after i hooked them up, they both sounded like crap if i turned them above 16 after i just installed the HU, the second one started sounding like crap at lower volumes, so i had it checked out and was told to replace it, so i did, best buys return policy sucks

Re: JVC Head units

I dont buy much from there, ive only gotten the HU and my 4 by 6 spekers, im waiting until i can get a better job in about 6 months, also, why would the 6 by 9, 3 way sony xplods put out a better treble sound than my 4 by 6 pionier 2 way speaers, i thought it would be the other way around since the pioniers are of better quality and are smaller, but i dont know

Re: JVC Head units

more surface area possable becuase it has a more circle like shape. or even just becuase the rms of the sony's might be closer to what the power is feeding them
