Dude that was one of hte best threads i have EVER read on af period! i mean it helped me out so much, because i have been thinking about buying a new bike, and i really dont know where to start, but with that article, i have some direction on where i want to go now...Thanks alot dude!

excellent thread! I went from dirt bikes to a fzr1000, and it was a sharp learning curve, no accidents thankfully, but good advice.

EXCELLENT article!!!!

As for helmets... I got a SNELL M95 certified. I'm still looking for a full leather riding jacket. I have full leather boots. Jeans didn't save me from bruises, but I'm sure I could have been cut on my little spill in the parking lot if I was in some other fabric.

VERY sound advice. Sounds exactly like my advice to anyone whose never ridden anything before.
