A VERY tough decision to make... READ

Ok, im gonna put up a pole on this one guys. What do you think i should get. Either one is fine with me. Im just having a difficult decision on this one. I need your guy's input. And none of this 'Choose for yourself' I wanna know what you guys would pick. And why.

1.) 1987 Buick Grand National, 3.8L SFI TURBO
2.) 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6, 6spd. 5.7L MFI? N/A
3.) 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT, 6spd. VR4, 3.0L MFI Twin Turbo
4.) 1993 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo 6spd. 3.0L Twin Turbo
5.) 2003 Dodge SRT-4, 2.4L Turbo. (Just joking on this one haha)

All of these cars are nice

Just need some insight. Im leaning twards the Buick and the WS6. However this kinda is intresting on what you guys would pick.

If I could have any one of them, I'd take the '93 Supra TT, because of their insane power and handling, Toyota reliability, and (in my opinion) cool and unique styling. However, 4th gen. Supras, particularly the twin turbos, are extremely overpriced right now. If I were buying the car myself, I'd rather buy a '90-'96 Nissan 300ZX. But of the cars on your list, if I were buying one, I'd buy the '00 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. The car is drop dead gorgeous, the power and handling are unrivaled by anything else in its class, and the price is very reasonable. Parts are cheap and plentiful, and reliability is, for the most part, pretty good.

99' VR4, best looking by far, AWD performance and handeling. Best of all, it lacks the supra pricetag.. Plus its not a 12 year old car lol.

2000 Trans Am WS6

This is my first choice because the after market on these is huge.

1993 Toyota Supra TT

This would be my second choice because they have a better resale value.

I was going to add some input but I don't think I could be that objective in the matter (Note for the slow: Check the sig)

Before I pass any judgement, I would ask what the car is to be used for.

WS6 by far.
Reasons:
1. Lots of power
2. Inexpensive
3. Looks cool
4. Huge aftermarket full of inexpensive upgrades
5. Theres no replacement for displacement. which means the WS6 will always be capable of more power
6. Easier to find in good condition than Supra and VR-4

I picked the Dodge because it's the best choice financially. All of those cars are going to be some-what abused due to the fact that they're all sports cars aimed at a younger generations. The Dodge is still going to be under warranty and is no slouch in the performace catagory.

for me it was between the supra and the grand national. Turbo 6 cylinders are the shit. i went with the GN, just cuz it's a lot more of a sleeper than a supra, has the extra displacement, and i just love the look.

turbo 6 cylinders are shit HAHHAHAHAAH
so u are saying
Porsche 911 turbo
Nissian Skyline
Supra's
VR4s
300za
G35 TT
i can name many more. Dude come on
Also why did u pick the supra or grand nation both are 6 cylinders. I say got with the VR4 damn sexy. Also if u have the money for a supra TT take it put in the VR4 and tell almost everything u pull up to kiss your a** and leave them. Or the WS6 and the same. Two of my dream cars on the same list but still go with the VR4 don't see that many.

Re: A VERY tough decision to make... READ

I voted for the GN. The WS6 is a little faster, but I'm not a fan of the "batmobile" look. I've always loved G-bodies like the GN and the aftermarket support is (believe it or not) more substantial than the F-body WS6, its just that the F-body is more recent and the names are more widely known. Dig into some nooks and crannies and you'll find tons of G-body stuff. I have two complete pages of favorites bookmarked for A/G body performance parts alone.

I'm not a fan of the 3000 for the "batmobile" reason. Its a nice quick car but I just don't personally like them.

I do like the Supra, but its not a "muscle" car. Its a tuner car. The GN is a true performer that screams down the quarter, incredibly easy to tune, and can be made to handle the same as the F-body. In fact, many of the G-body and F-body chassis parts interchange and are very common upgrades. Plus you'll be part of a very exclusive group of owners. And, (if its your thing) the GN groups are very active with shows, tours, cruise-ins, and mod days. Great group of guys and gals. I've never heard of a Supra car club, and if it exists I'm sure its not the same spirit.

GN all the way! Its truly a car that you can love, both because you love to drive it, and because it draws attention. Its truly a respected car, and for good reason

Re: A VERY tough decision to make... READ

damn hard choice im my opinion..
1. ws6
2. supra
3. srt-4

srt-4 has so much potential and its the lightest of all of them but ws6 is just too powerful.

The only choices for me are the Supra or the WS6...I'd take the Supra TT if I had money to burn in mods...if not the WS6 if I had to be more frugal

99 vr4 is my dream car, thats my number 1 pick, 320hp 315lbs tq

looks amazing.

next would be the trans am ws6, if i didn't think the vr4 looked better, i would probably take this as number 1. just a beast

supra is 3rd, not to fond of the looks, not too exited about its power since its the same as the vr4. but it is very rare and the aftermarket is out of this world.

i dont think i'd even buy a srt-4

just for shits and giggles here's a pic of my buddy's recently restored 86 GN

yes i know his plate's visible, but those won't be the plates when the car is totally done and registered, so i guess it don't matter right?

and you couldn't give me an SRT-4 and expect me to keep it.
