Question Woah !!!!!!

Has anyone here heard of the brand Bistango???? I am reading the April 199 Wheels magazine and there is an advertisment that has a three pictures of various cars they make- one looks like a hot rod (LosRobles XVIII), one like a Russian XJ8 (ElRoyale VIII) and the final one a Nissan P11 Primera with an S-type front end (LeReina XIV).

They cliam thier car the LaMancha XXIV to be the most powerful car ever produced, these cars are very fine cars crafted to perfection and go for bteween NZ$250,000 and 2,000,000.

The adress given is Automible Bistango- 1 Calle Demon Azul, Sant Julia de Loria, Andorra

Which probably means it is a company of the little mountain nation of Andorra.

Anyone got any more info they can give me???

Well, I can't find anything on them. I don't think that they did actually produce the most powerful car though. I just think that if they did, I would be able to find SOMETHING on it. I'll keep looking though, I'm curious.

Remind me to make unsubstantiated claims like that, such as I have produced the worlds most powerful/heaviest/fastest/offensive car... take your pick, and I'll write up an address in the Congo or something

The idea is to make an outlandish unsubstantiated claim. The claim can neither be proven or disproven, as I am operating somewhere in the deep jungle rainforest.

I'm not entirely sure they sell any cars, I suspect the worlds most powerful production car would attract a lot of attention, including mine...

Hi im new and found this site searching for info on this same car.

According to Price Watch wheels april 1994, A Bistango LaMancha would have cost you 889,750.

For that you got a 9.3 litre 24 Cylinder Engine, 480kW, a 9 speed automatic gearbox, 0-100 in 3.7, 1/4 mile in 13.2 seconds.

Andorra?

I wonder if the company's badge features a picture of Anges Moorehead.

Is that 0-100 in kph or mph? It's gotta be kp/h just because those numbers don't match up any other way, but I still have to ask.
