Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 2018

Hello guys,

Some years ago I bought a couple of 911 GT3 Cup kits in resin (generation 991.1). When I finally decided to build one I got disappointed with the body shape, more specifically the front nose and windows arches. All parts are well injected, but the body was a crap.

A diecast GT2 RS in the background. The front of the GT3 Cup is totally wrong.

So I decided to use my 3d printer and try something different: print the front nose of the GT3 Cup next generation. I could find a file that needed some work and preparation to 3d print.

After curing in the UV light.

Compare with the old and wrong front.

Primer to check defects

I designed the wheels and centerlocks

Windows arches correction

Lots of sanding and primer

Result so far. There are some minor flaws to fix in the next days.

I'll gone start decal design to build this version
