Tamiya Ferrari F189 1/20

A OOB build to get 2019 cranked up. Thoroughly enjoyed it, only hit the tyres with a bit of a rub on the rough concrete to eliminate the lines as much as possible and that was it. Just need to build a McLaren to go with it now!

It might be a "simple" out of the box build, but it is absolutely stunning! Great looking model.

One of the few F1 that I also have. You perfectly paid tribute to this beautiful simple design. Is the body openable or did you glue everything altogether ?
I am still wondering how to do with mine : keeping the top section removable may end up in leaving big gaps here and there ?

Re: Tamiya Ferrari F189 1/20

Thank-you for the kind words gentlemen. The lines of this car are stunning and that was my primary reason for buying it. The top is not glued down, the fitment is excellent (as we know with Tamiya).

I merely sanded the flat edges on bottom of cowling and tops of the side skirts and then shot them with paint. The finished result is that everything lays down perfectly flat so if you want to add detail under you have the option of displaying open and closed.
