Toyota's new sports car !!!!!!

so far there has been tons of speculation about toyota re-releasing the supra......but according to some info from Road and Track, toyota's new sports car may not be a supra at all......it may in fact be based off the mr-2.....has anybody heard about this being the much anticipated toyota sports car? is there a chance a new mr2 AND a supra could be released?

i no toyota are bringing out a Sportivo or somthing like that , but i dont see why they wouldnt bring out a new gen of Supra's , mkv's would b a luvly car aslong as they dont screw it up like Nissen did with the 350z and the new Skyline

btw, if u read the r&t article, it mentions using a lexus v8 in the is300 to compete with the m3 and s4 and a 3.0 liter v6 in the mr-s to compete with the s2000 and the porsche boxster.....even if these don't become actual production models, do u think toyota may be 'testing out' the v6 and v8 in these models so that they can put these engines in the new supra???.....because testing the engines completely different cars would be a perfect way for toyota to lead people off the track of uncovering the new supra or whatever it'll be called.....i personally hope thy'd release both these cars AND the new supra.....they could have them compete in different markets anyways
