stutters and bogs- help

I have been working on a 92 G20 van. 350 small block has tbi. Engine has 176K. Runs and sounds good during acceleration. But, at deceleration back to idle as it slows down to idle it stutters and bogs almost to a point that it dies but it continues to run. It will stutter. Apply the gas and it runs again and same results when decelerates. Seems to do it more when engine is at operating temp than when cold.
What we have done is change plugs, wire set, cap n rotor, new egr solonid, new 2 injectors for tbi. pcv valve, O2 sensor. Checked map sensor and egr valve working fine. Need suggestions.

Sometimes the throttle body needs cleaned.
http://www.rockauto.com/ sells a kit. Make sure you get one with a diaphram.

Re: stutters and bogs- help

I think that will be the next fix. I was also thinking that could it be the IAC?

just how did you test EGR ?? I doubt you did this with monitoring the intake vacuum .

EGR valves of this type work good for 10 years thats it.

Might also consider the ECT sensor.

Be careful some aftermarket egr valves have washers and if you install the wrong washer they can cause this type of problem.

Re: stutters and bogs- help

I think we are looking at the egr valve as the problem. We only looked at whether the diaphragm was able to be pressed closed with our fingers. We are now thinking that it doesn't close all the way letting air back into the system and causing the rich condition????? thanks
