How do you lower a car?

One of my kits that I have not started yet is an Impala from the 60's. I kind of want to lower it but I do not know how.

Tell us a bit about how the suspention is done. Is it all molded into the bottom of the chassis, like Guiddy's WRX, or is it a zillion pieces that you have to assemble?

Cant see pis either.

To lower the car will mean a lot of work. Without seeing the pics....you may have to do things like the following that i have done for mine....remember this all takes a lot of time.
This is the 2 things i mostly do.

* Cut bits out of springs and shocks, then join them together again.

*Sometimes cut into the chassis if it is a one piece bit so it sets further ito the chassis.....(lots of mucking around)

Easy!

With the front, make the suspension as per the instructions, but mount the top wishbone on to the chassis with another piece of plastic underneath, therefore rasing the height of the A arm.

With the rear, just cut a section of the rear shock and spring out, and re glue, as Warren said.
You will lose the strength of that part, so handle carefully!
