so GM sold rebadged Swifts over in America as well?
they sold them here as well (only 4cyl models), but rebadged as the Holden Barina (until the ~mid 90's, after that they were based on the Opel Corsa) well, i didn't know what Geo were, due to no Geos being sold in .au |

The Suzuki Swift/Forsa may have been the most rebadged vehicle ever. It may be in a close battle with the Suzuki Vitara/Escudo/Sidekick.
The Swift/Forsa was sold under the Suzuki, Chevrolet (Metro/Sprint), Geo (Metro), Pontiac (Firefly), and Subaru (Justy) badges. The Vitara/Escudo/Sidekick was marketed under Suzuki, Chevrolet (Tracker), Geo (Tracker), Pontiac (Sunfire), and GMC (Tracker? Sunfire?). |
