Question about Buying Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight (1998)

I have an opportunity to purchase Oldsmobile eight eight, year 1998. It olny has 34K miles on it. The owner had cancer so it hasn't been driven too much. I heard that its not very good for a car to stay idle for such a long time. What do you think? The asking price is only $5,900.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Question about Buying Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight (1998)

If you want that car, its a screamin deal. It should bring over $6000 on a crappy trade in value, and maybe top $7000 or more private party.

They are an American FWD disposable car, so don't expect years of flawless service, but don't worry about the low mileage. If it were 10k I might say look out for blah, blah...
