Is this a real Ferrari?
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/mickeyb/me.jpg
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/mickeyb/car.jpg This guy is claiming his car is a "Ferrari with 1989 McLaren-Ferrari wheels". I say it is a Fiero. Reasons I think it is a bodykit: - Side markers are wrong shape, place, and color - Keyhole is in the wrong spot - Door lines match up with a Fiero, and not a Ferrari - Louvres are all wrong for a Ferrari, and do not line up as actual Ferrari louvres do - Lack of badging - Wheels look like hubcaps. (Ferrari never covered the lugnuts except for a chrome cover on Testarossa wheels from everything I could find online) - Gas cap location is a bit off. To me, it looks like a Fiero Mera knockoff kit. Opinions? |

Re: Is this a real Ferrari?
NO. I made them. At least part of them and my brother and law and sister made some other parts of them.
Its a Mera. Made by 3R industries. I was looking for one on the internet to show my wife. I made the louvered shade behind the left and right windows. My brother in law made the fenders. Sorry but it is true. |

Re: Is this a real Ferrari?
if i saw it going down the street i'd do a double take, which is exactly wat a bodykit on a fiero is supposed to do(especially one that looks like a car 4x or 5x as much

Re: Is this a real Ferrari?
For those that want a bit of entertainment, the idiot making these claims has surfaced again. Hop into the alt.games.diablo2 newsgroup via Google Groups and do a recent post search for Mickey. Highly entertaining!
