2005 CR-V rough idle after head gasket replacement
I blew the head gasket on my 2005 CR-V (106K miles). I ran it for a few miles without noticing that it was overheating then it wouldn't start. Midas replaced the head gasket (not cheap), and ever since, it shakes when it is in drive (several months now). I am looking for advice on whether I should put more money into it to fix this problem or if I screwed it up when I let it overheat and it is unfixable. I don't want to throw good money after bad but the car ran perfectly until this problem. HELP!

Re: 2005 CR-V rough idle after head gasket replacement
Your symptoms are probably fixable. First step I'd recommend is to look at the engine and transmission mounts to see if they need to be replaced. Just google "2005 Honda CRV engine mounts diagram". You may also want to do a drain and fill on your transmission fluid.
