Mystery wiring loom under arm rest
I have a post-revision 2002 S-Type. This morning I was fitting a new arm rest cubby box with cup holders and a 12V power outlet. While I had the cubby box out, in addition to the wiring loom for the 12V power, I also found a loom that was tied up out of the way and terminated in a black 1 inch-cube 8-pin connector. Does anyone have any idea what this is? It looks like its something entertainment/sat navvy, but I really have no idea. As you know I have been looking for ways to connect an iPod to the stereo on my car and if this is some kind of auxiliary input, then I'll be right happy (somehow I doubt it is).
