What do you like about the NSX?
I was just wondering what you other NSX enthusiasts like about the NSX.
For me, it's just the pure eloquence of what a sportcar is. TO me, the NSX is just, perfect. |

Likes and Dislikes
I like the exclusivity, looks, reliability, mid-engine balance, handling, ext/int color selection.
I don't like the hi-cost of admission, small tires, dated interior, underpowered engine of the 2003 model. |

For sure, those are the weaknessess of the NSX. I think the engine is quite good though, 3.2L, 290 hp; It's ample thrust. |

i do have to agree that the interior leaves something to be desired.. but i am not asking for some decked out dvd crap.. just think it needs a redesign.. but other than that i love the nsx, and if i had the cash i would get one no problem.. but then again i would need a place to park it, oh and some $$ for insurance.. lol ...
but such a beautiful car, and limited, and unique.. kinda sounds like the S2000..

where do i begin.....
ah, the nsx, my ideal car. ever since i was little and first saw it (when i didnt know anything about cars) i knew i wanted it. The style, the prefect balance of line and curve. I love the side vent, the way the spoiler molds with the body, the car's style flows. I love the way the sunlight shines off of it when it is driving, the light following the curves. I love the fact that it was inovative (vtec) and is light. its perfect

the nsx has this very sexy and exotic look which is why i love it so much, but the main draw back is the power. $100k and u get only 275-290 hp? if they turbo it that would be a much better or atleast put a v8. if they do add the power, the price will also rise so either way its a no win situation. i met a guy who works for acura and he has a 911, when i asked him why? he said its less expensive and faster cause it has more power.

Interior of NSX
If someone is complaining about the interior of the NSX I have to ask if you have ever been in one for more than a few seconds. I will grant you that all of the gauges are analog but Honda hate failure in anything! And digital gauges fail. The stalkes "growing out of the sides of the wheel" are delightfull and you can see everything well. As for the rest of the interior, When you close the door you get the illusion that the car wraps around you. (even a Corvette owner thought so). The car is leather everywhere except the gauges, radio area and floor. I have two whole complaints about my car:
1) The radio (bose) SUCKS 2) The lack of cup holders |

I do not own one, yet the fact that they only push 290hp for the price tag they cost. I could not buy one for speed. Id buy one for originality.

Everyone keeps talkin about speed... Juss a lil note The NSX is one of the fastest cars of the lot most NSX's run 12's - 13's of the showroom, im not even gunna talk about the zanadari(sp?) edition it was rated at 11.9 off the showroom. So i dont think slow is an issue of owning an NSX, Its juss an all around car it does everything...

Re: What do you like about the NSX?
I own my NSX's because they captivate me when I look at them. From the time I was 17 and bribed my boss to let me drive one (I worked at the dealer) I was hooked. By the time I was 22 I had my first NSX. A couple years later I bought another one to go with it. The interior is great and the seats are comfortable for long hauls. The car is just a ball to drive. Oh...and that engine...sweet...sweet, music.
