Buick This and Buick That.....
does anybody own a Buick Skyhawk.....I do and it stills runs, with 450,000 miles on it....never relplaced anything (well you know the usuals, water pump, theromsat)...now thats a well built AMERICAN car!!! |

Not only does it show a well built car, it shows that it had a loving owner (yourself) to take excellent care of her.

Have a 79 Roadhawk in restoration, Looking for a few parts, the 79-80 had less than 1000 made, for both years combined.

That's in fairly decent shape for the year. I haven't seen one in my area for well over 15 years. Up here they all rust out from the salt use in the winter. I remember these cars. A lot of women owned them, especially waitresses, and bartenders that I knew. Cheap economical transportation back then. I remember that "front end' look before composite headlamps arrived on the scene later in the '80s, with the 2 headlamps side by side.
