Transmission Problems

We've got a 2000 CR-V with about 130,000 miles on it, it seems to hesitate between gears, the engine picks up another 2 - 300 rpms and then it shifts. Any thoughts on this? Had the tranny serviced at about 100,000. Thanks for any advice!

Re: Transmission Problems

My transmission just started slipping severely on my 99CRV with 112000 miles. I'm the 2nd owner. Tranny fluid was changed at 100,000. Car was running perfectly. I was driving one night and the car would accelerate but not move. This lasted for a few seconds. The next day the car was no longer driveable. You can drive a few feet and then it revs in place.

I'm trying to get Honda America to tell me what's up with these cars and why this would go so bad from one day to the next. Also has anyone had any luck getting Honda to help pay for repairs (I'm 2nd owner).

thanks,
