Ferrari F430
Maranello, 24 August 2004 – The F430 signals the arrival of a brand new generation of Ferrari 8-cylinder models. This new car takes Ferrari’s extraordinary achievements with aluminium technology, begun with the 360 Modena, to a whole new level, and offers a series of extremely significant innovations directly derived from the Ferrari Formula 1 single-seaters.

Re: Ferrari F430
Nice find. The information on that site seems consistant to things that I have heard in the past. I was really hoping for a top speed above 200mph. I guess nothing is for sure yet. It is still a possibility.
Would you happen to know where I can get those pictures higher-res. |

Re: Ferrari F430
Thanks for providing the high-res pics Alain. I've always been a fan of your site, especially the "Filmography" sections. I was wondering how you get a hold of these pictures when Ferrari releases them to the public. Is there an official site you go to, or are they sent to you directly from Ferrari?

Re: Ferrari F430
I have to say.....when I saw the different spy pics and heard how they were going to breed a 360 with an Enzo....I thought it was gonna hit a few ugly sticks on the way.
...leave to Ferrari to prove me wrong. That is the most sexy car I've ever seen. |

Re: Ferrari F430
Sorry, but I'm still waiting for a nice looking Ferrari V8 since the 308 GTB...
I'm sure it will be a better car in every aspects, but as far as design is concerned, the car has lost its cohesion... The F355 was in a way the 348 as it should have been designed first, but this 430 is just a 360 as it should have never been designed... All the parts, as air scoop, that were completely integrated in the 360, look now on the 430 as if they've been designed by different people... The one that has drawn this huge front bumper under small lenses is surely not the same guy as the one that has "lightened" the rear in quite an elegant way. Sorry... I found the 360 surely not the sexiest Ferrari I've ever seen, but it looked intelligently drawn. This 430 just looks like a 360 modified by the guy that has disfigured the Diablo into the SV version... Racing stickers will make it look better.
