2002 Grand Cherokee - P0158 O2 Sensor 22 Circuit High Voltage
Hello - I'm hoping someone can help me out. My 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a check engine light and I'm receiving the following code: P0158 - O2 Sensor 22 Circuit High Voltage.
I want to replace this sensor - and when I went under the vehicle I could see that the wire harness was disconnected from the sensor. I managed to loosen the bolt on the sensor, but I can't figure out what the replacement part is. Does 22 indicate bank 2, sensor 2 ? I took a picture of the location of the sensor that had the disconnected wire - I just trying to verify that I'm purchasing the correct part. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you ! |

Re: 2002 Grand Cherokee - P0158 O2 Sensor 22 Circuit High Voltage
Correct, "22" is bank 2, sensor 2. Sensor 2 is also referred to as the downstream sensor.
Before just replacing the part it might be worth it for you to reconnect the sensor and drive the Jeep a bit to see if another code gets set that might indicate the sensor was unplugged for a different reason. Maybe you'll get lucky and have no further issues once the sensor is connected again as well. -Rod |
