Doesn't this thing have 2 midmounted engines, turbocharged and blown? Damn, its like a top-fuel dragster that rides on rails. Anyone know how it compares to Rod Millen's PP Celica?

Nah, only has one engine. Just a very, very powerful one. I've driven it in GT2 and must say, that thing only accelerates. Major ass hauler!

Actually, the PP Escudo does have two 6-cylinder motors, one midship and one rear-mounted, with synchronizers, superchargers, turbochargers, and of course, all-wheel drive. Amazing really, with all that hardware, it still scales in under 2,000lbs.

However, Nobuhiro Tajima is changing cars for the next PP Hill Climb, and now that the twin-motor campaign was successful, his team has put together another twin-powerplant masterpiece; this time its a Baleno (Esteem), and the motors are placed fore and aft.

Somebody was confused. The Chevrolet/Geo/GMC Tracker was based on the Suzuki Vitara/Escudo/Sidekick. Geez...did they have enough nameplates for this car? And I'm leaving out the Pontiac/GMC/Asuna Sunrunner....

the escudo is a real car, tho its hardly ever raced. Its a museum car, it doesnt leave the museum till its pikes peak time... which is when they do race the car. On the game its the baddest car of em all with 941HP AWD - tops out at 264MPH and accels faster then any other car. Nah its not supercharged and turbo ... just turbo... HUGE turbo.. stage 4
