Re: Help buying car

a used car isnt bad. and nothing wrong w/ mustang but id get a chevy. all singers sing bout chevy 4 a reason. parts r cheaper. get a camaro corvette or like me take a little s10 throw a 400 sbc in w/a big ass cam(484/494). 1.6 roller rockers. hi rise alum intake w/ eldelbrock 800 thunder avs carb.w/ 5 speed out of 96 chevy 2500 hd dually. if u go automatic make sure you have a stall converter to match pulling range of cam.headers. true duals. flowmasters. crome tips. and a 250 hp shot of nos. and tub the rear end w/ drag radials. and chrome her ass down just for bragging right cause trust me went u gat this type of power u love to pop the hood. when u get it right it would pull 750 hp and will pull the tires off d ground. but its up 2 u

Re: Help buying car

Well I'm totally against your "illegal street racing" but I would go import. I would definitely pick chevy if it was domestic but you may not "need" anything as powerful as sbc mentioned. Put 15k in just about any civic and it would dominate most.

Re: Help buying car

hell 15k and ill sell mine. if u spend that in an import u r stupid. an import will never pull the hp a built v8 will.to b honest about it i built my own s10 and i have all that hp and only about 5000 dollars in it.so my advice is dont piss ur money away on a import. imports are god gas mileage. american muscle for racing

Re: Help buying car

well i love honda's... and i love domestic cars and dont see anything wrong with other imports but if your going to drag then dont go with an import such as a civic. yes you can make little FWD cars go REALLY fast but you are going to spend alot more money than you will with a v8 that has nice get-up-and go to start with. i agree with the s10 that was mentioned earlier and am thinking about getting one myself. if you want a smaller vehicle that got decent gas mileage. then by all means get you a 15 second civic. the turbos on them only run around 2-3 grand.

just remember dont watch fast and the furious and think your gunna go out and stomp a fixed up corvette with a fixed up civic or accord. racing in japan is different than drag. they rely on speed/handling where as drag relies on the horsepower you get at the wheels/ how fast you can accelerate.
