'41 willy's streetrod gasserstyle

Hello modelfriends.
I've starded a new project, A '41 willy's gasser.

This one will be build as a streetrod in gasserstyle ( ç ause the original decals are in very bad shape ).

I will use some unused parts ( decals + bodyshell ) from an other '41 willy's kit which is used for my 2cv.

Until now i have done some work on the chassis and sprayed the body's.

chassis

Body 1

Body 2

Body 1 needs to be sprayed red again.
At the engine the glowplugwires will be added and fuellines will be added.

Looks like a good start. I would give the red a few more mist coats and then a wet. It looks very thin right now.

Looks like a good start there, one of my favorite subjects.
My 2 cents though, its either a street rod or a gasser IMHO it can't be both as those terms define two different styles

I'm sorry. It will be build gasserstyle with a lowered frontsuspension and with streettires.
I wrote it down the same way i wrote it on a dutch modelkitforum, but thanx for correcting me.
