I promised to compare 1/24 ESCI MB190E and real. I am surprised myself.

Esci tail looks totally mistaken, and in my opinion Fujimi body is also too narrow.
I already cut the 4 fenders and enlarged all theme for 0.75 on each side. More I look at Fujimi body more I think there is to cut. Next step will be the front bumper. Will not post pics here not to dirt Henrik nice thread.

So I'm sorry. I just wanted to support my thesis that Esci is better.
I think the ground plan is better than Fujimi. But It does not matter. You both do a great job. Pleasure to watch.

Starting to correct the windows, pillars and the area under the doors.

the rear bumper is also incorrect...

The body is almost done...the comparison with my Autoart Evo looks good.

Re: DTM 1992 #3 Sonax Boss Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evo2

coming real nice Henrick.

I think there is (maybe) still something missing in lenght of the front bumper. Look carefully the pic of the comparison to the autoart model. It looks quite longer.
Also the inner lower part of the front wheel arch probably must be changed. take a look , maybe is just my foolness or maybe not ..

The body is done and ready for the livery.

The grey one is the modified body and the white one is the original fujimi body.

The chassis is from a Esci Mercedes...start to fix them.

Re: DTM 1992 #3 Sonax Boss Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evo2

Hi

Started this project 1 year ago, and this is the target.

Quelle: desktopmachine.com

The body is a Mercedes 190E Evo2 from Fujimi.

The bodywork is done, the car looks more realistic then before.
The chassis, suspension and the engine are from Esci Revell.
Starting to fix the chassis...

The firewall and the inner door panels under progress...

Some details, made of evergreen for the chassis floor.

The color i'm using is the original Mercedes 199 blue/black.

At the moment i'm working on the rollcage.

Hi

The rollcage is done and painted with Multona Mercedes 199 blue/black.

The dashboard is from the Fujimi kit, modified with some carbon plates, bottoms and a steering wheel from scaleproduction.

The interior is done, sear, belt and electronic parts are complete now.

The modified front and rear suspension is from the Esci kit

Body, chassis, suspensions and wheels.

Starting to paint the body in the color Mercedes 199 blue/black.
