2001 Navy Potiac Sunfire - 49,000 Miles

I would like someones opinion on this car. Well, not the car since I have read almost every review of the car on the internet, but your opinion on the price and the mileage. The average miles per year is around 15-16k so ... this would mean this Sunfire has been driven A LOT. I mean 49k Miles in a 2 year period!! But I have just fallen in love with this car. The dealership is wanting 9k, but I am sure I can talk um down to 8-8.5k since I am paying cash. The car is in great condition. It's the 2d Coupe ... without the additional package [no power locks/windows] ... So whatca think? Over priced? and if so how much? and should I even buy the car considering the mileage?

Thank You

if ya havent made your mind up yet id say dont pay any thing over 7500 to 8000 depending on the condition.

as for dependability and worthyness there fairly good cars pontiac does much better at making smaller engines that last a long time then they do with larger engines. and 49k is not relly that many miles
