Re: New Toy...

So any plans to take it to any kind of track? Should be a mid to upper 10 second bike no?

Re: New Toy...

Track, yes. 1/4 mile.. no

Road course tracks in the future when i can afford full leathers.

Although I'm sure it's plenty fast 1/4 mile wise though, not sure how fast it'd be. Fast enough all I know.

Re: New Toy...

Triumph has always done a good job of making their bikes different, without being ugly. I like it, sharp!

Re: New Toy...

Out of sheer curiousity I looked it up. It looks like one group tested it with 0-60 of 3.32 seconds and a near 11 second flat ET. And that comes to $5 please!

Re: New Toy...

Mine does 145mph........ :-(

If we ever get in a top speed battle, I will have no choice but to carry some weaponry. Some Road Rash 3D stuff. Some chain, a crowbar, grenades.....victory is absolute!!!!

If you don't know what that is...

Re: New Toy...

Road Rash, man... that brings back memories. One of the greatest games ever.

Road Rash 3 for Sega Genesis was probably the best of the series.

The Daytona is a nice bike, although, you'll end up paying more for parts and service because it's British than you would with a Jap bike. I don't care though, it's different... all I care about. You see R6's and GSX-Rs all day, I still haven't seen a 675.

I hear a lot of "I didn't know Triumph still made motorcycles....." and they can't phathom that Triumph makes a sport bike. Funny stuff.
