It has very little to do with the car itself, but this exchange from over there is almost priceless in my opinion.

I worked in the stock market.
For insurance, as you will know there are many elements that influence a particular rate. Twelve thou sterling is in the ballpark.

Actually the car has always gotten a friendly reception in France. It seems that although the French don't manufacture or drive decent cars, they do appreciate them.
Hilarious!!

The second pic in the following thread has his car in it *I think it's his car, anyway*. The pic was taken near the Ring this July.

Here is the thread:Manthey Racing exhaust

It would appear that you need a Rennlist account to see the photos. Can you rehost the image somewhere else for us?

Sweet - thanks for sharing that. I guess one could say that his car is "just haning out with a couple of Porsches" in that photo.

Fascinating perspective on the F1's handling from an owner:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...3&t=116539&h=0

Read the third post - I found it quite interesting.

By the way, if you haven't visited PistonHeads since my initial accouncement that an F1 owner had surfaced there, do spend some time reading the thread I posted above along with this one:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...23&h=&t=116008

The owner is knowledgeable, eloquent and willing to answer questions in enough detail to satiate the likes of the folks here.
