Bought a wrecked car. Can I take it back?
I just bought an 06 Highlander on Saturday that came with an Autocheck with it. The autocheck said it was clean, but my mechanic told me this morning that it has had some extensive body work done and has Bondo work all over the rear end. Also, the car was advertised as a Toyota Certified Used Car, but now I can't find any mention on that anywhere in my paperwork. I am wondering if this was a scam to sell the car. Do I have any recourse with the dealer for misleading me on this car? I am not in love with it by any means and would like to take it back but I do not want to have to take another car from their lot. I based the price I paid on an unwrecked car and now I am scared I paid too much for it.
