Wheels for my Escort

Hey, I'm looking to keep my car looking fairly factory, so I'd like to throw some 15X5.5 1995 Escort GT wheels on my '91 LX. I'm currently running on 175/70-13's (don't laugh ), and I'm wondering what size tires I'd want if I got those GT wheels. I've had 205/50-15's recommended by another Escort owner, but I'd like some more porfessional advice so I don't throw off my speedo or rub the inner fenders too much.

195/50-15 would work better but, 205/50-15 isn't that far off (.4")

Alright, thanks

Any ideas on what tire type would be best for me? I rarely hit 100 MPH (or even 60 for that matter), but I love cornering and accelerating fast. I'm not looking to spend an enormous amount, but I'd like a good tire. The looks of the tread is fairly important as well. Thanks again.

The 195/50 would have a little less sidewall.. and 205 is kinda wide for a 5.5 inch wide rim IMO.
