you should deffinately go out and look for a gremlin. thats your best bet. so many mods, plus damn other street racers will think you have a damn sweet ride.

Re: Good Car For Racin?
How much are you looking to spend? Some good bang-for-buck cars are the Chevrolet Camaro Z28, Pontiac Trans Am, Ford Mustang GT, Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo, Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, and Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4.

Re: Good Car For Racin?
If you're mainly gonna drag race/street race, stick with the American muscle: Mustang GT w/ 5.0 or Camaro Z28/Trans Am. Or are you gonna do some autocross/road racing as well?

Re: Good Car For Racin?
Alright then, I'd say your best bet is a 98-02 Camaro Z28/SS or Pontiac Firebird Formula/Trans Am. The 5.7L V8 LS1 from the Corvette is one SICK motor, especially coupled with the six-speed manual transmission. If you wanna get a Japanese import, go with a 3000GT VR-4, Eclipse GSX, or 300ZX TT. I'd say Supra TT, but they are really overpriced and the 300ZX TT will give you more bang-for-buck. The two Mitsus are AWD and turbocharged, which means sick launches and cheap HP gains.

Street Racing=No.
Take it to the track. I hope you lose your license if you become a 'street racer'. |
