Gunmetal Rims

Hey. I got some 18" Gunmetal Motegi MR7'2 about a year ago and I LOVE the way they look on my car. I can honestly say they are some of the most beautiful rims I've ever seen. To toot my own horn But those damn things are heavy as hell!!! Like 23lbs each! My gas mileage is shot to shit and I can feel the lack of power. Not that there was much to begin with. I drive a 5spd 2000 Accord.

I wanna know if you guys know of any rims that look almost exactly the same, but weight less. If I had gotten the regular brushed aluminum MR7's I could just get some Tantrums and have the same look with like 8lbs less on each wheel. But Konig doesn't make gunmetal Tantrum

Any suggestions???

re: gunmetal rims

Have you considered the Konig Holes? I dunno if they are very similar to your wheels but you will be losing at least 8-9 lbs. ; they are graphite wheels i believe. Just a suggestion.

Question

Are you sure you're thinking about the right wheels?

These are Konig Holes:

And these are Motegi MR7's (Gunmetal):

I think you got some different rims in mind

te37s come in gun metal color? I thought they only come in white, bronze, and silver(limited edition), or the le37s which come in gun metal with a polised lip

Yeah. they got some 18 inch 7 spoke rims that look pretty much like mine, but they just don't list the weight. I'll have to do a lil digging for that. Thanks for the tip tho!
