Chrome should auto translate it for you. Or babelfish.

I could not get Chrome to translate the page...it would blink and disappear.

If you copy/paste the verbage in each post it will translate in Google Translate. Just not the entire page.

The Pagani and Huracan will be big hits, but why can't I have a McLaren F1 short tail Are they in cahoots with the people over at Fujimi?

Honestly it's likely because Aoshima may have made a poor tactical decision when they went for the long-tail McLaren instead of the short tail. If the long-tail version didn't sell to expectations, and with Fujimi short tail kits out there already, we may have to live with the fact that if you want a short tail you're stuck with Fujimi, Maisto, or expensive resin.

I've now built 4 Fujimi short tail kits...they sort of satisfied the itch, while continually reminding me that they could have done a LOT better.

I had bought a couple Fujimi long tail kits...and after four short tail builds, I sold off the long tail kits. I've endured enough. I'm not even buying an Aoshima long tail. The ship has sailed...

I suspect the best seller of the new items will be the Huracan, followed by Pagani, followed by Diablo. In Aoshima's favor, the Diablo GTR is a great subject I'd love to build, any other Diablo would be a no-sale for me, mostly from market saturation of Diablo kits by other companies in the past. They can get a lot of mileage from the Huracan, and it is a hot new car.

Re: New kits from Aoshima

I still want to see a (the final) Diablo 6.0; that nose and those wheels are too gorgeous to not exist in kit form.

Re: New kits from Aoshima

So about that Huracan...

Fellow modeler with more of a finger on the pulse says Lamborghini mandated a push on the Huracan ahead of Aoshima's other projects, and we may be seeing a consequence or two of that.

Re: New kits from Aoshima

I think when parts 85/86 and window parts 121/122, 47/48 will be in place it will look just fine. Definitely looks Ok on their demo builds, imho

Re: New kits from Aoshima

I've been having a hard time getting into new Lambos. I mean they're sort of cool looking, I guess- but everything since the Murcielago looks the same to me. And I can't seem to bother to care if/how the new ones are different.

But speaking of Aoshima releases-

I was mucking about on 199.co.jp, and I found these!

Now that's something new and cool from Aoshima.

Re: New kits from Aoshima

Yeah, the Hurucan seems a little mundane to me. I have too many other kits to build to buy this one. If only they made a short tail McLaren F1...
