Fixing Car Wiper blade on Driver's right/left glass window pane
During monsoon season (Heavy rainfall) causes the window glass pane filled with water which is on the right hand side of the Driver in a right hand drive vehicle and is on the left hand side of the Driver in a left hand drive vehicle.
Can fixing the Wiper blades on the driver's right/left window glass pane will solve the problem ? Last edited by shorod; 07-02-2022 at 12:00 PM. Reason: Removed possible spam link about wiper blade maintenance. |

What do you mean by the window pane filling with water? Please don't send me to a web article, I want to know specifics about your issue.

Re: Fixing Car Wiper blade on Driver's right/left glass window pane
Thanks Rod.
I mean while driving in heavy rainfall as we use the Car Wiper in the front glass window pane for front view, i also observed on my right window pane (Since in India, it is right hand drive) lot of water gathers in the window glass pane as well as left hand window glass pane. Can adding Wiper blades on both right and left window glass panes will resolve this issue? Note : Sorry for repeating but it is Heavy rainfall while driving. Again, please refrain from including links that are not relevant to the thread. Unless you're a spammer, then continue and the Moderators will have reason to ban you.
So are you referring to the windows on the doors, to the driver's (and passenger's) sides, rather than the windshield? My general suggestion would be if it's raining that hard that you cannot see out the side windows either, it's probably not safe to be driving. Either that or your windows have some nasty film on them that needs to be removed. Have you tried using a mineral deposit remover on the windows, then applying a coating that helps the water glide right off? In the US the trade name is "Rain-X." I don't know if the same or a similar product is available in India, but that would likely be a more reasonable solution than adding wipers. -Rod |

I swung the ban hammer since two more posts after the two warnings also included links, one of which was related, but unnecessary.
