Re: Rear suspension sound: Strut mounts?

I have the new Samsung Epic cell phone running Android 2.2. I just love the touch screen. If I forget to set up dish reciever to record a program. I have Sprint. The phone is also GPS enabled, so I can get turn by turn directions. The cloud is retarded.

Yeah the virus think is the best, you won't need a highly priced/free antivirus solution that only makes your computer run slower.

I know the feeling about cellphones, I bought a blackberry one year ago and although I can do most things with it, I still haven't sit and check all of the available apps for it, I've only found crappy stuff, plus I still haven't got used to it and sometimes I regret getting this phone.

BTW - I heard the new Windows Phone 7 is a big flop and won't help Microsoft get any real increased market share. Unless you like going to the "cloud".
Aha! I would like to get one of those, I've never used android but as far as I've read it's great, that's a good competitor to apple's iOS. Unfortunately here in Mexico it takes longer to get those state of the art phones and when they usually arrive, their price will be twice as US prices, even with that sometimes you still have to sign a 2 year contract with the operator, which sucks...

I used to have a windows mobile 6 phone and was OK but not great, it was slow and most of the times I had problems while trying to install different apps, most of the times I got "Invalid OS version" even when they were totally compatible, from that day I stopped thinking on even thinking of windows phones LOL.

I like that one too, do you need a data-plan in order for the GPS to work or the maps come loaded into the phone?

That's one thing I hate about my blackberry, you need a data-plan to get full gps coverage and still you only get a sometimes outdated and hard to see map and no turn by turn navigation. Totally sucks!

Bob, if by "cloud" you mean the white puffy things in the sky I completly understand. Otherwise I'm out of the loop.

Yes you need the data plan. Cloud is a windows 7 app that allows you to say like that you have a sales team working on a sales presentation every one can work on it at the same time from different locations.

Re: Rear suspension sound: Strut mounts?

By "Cloud" what I mean is a bunch of B.S. and another Microsoft marketing gimmick.

Check this out on any Windows Phone 7 no matter what brand.

1) No copy or paste functions
2) Lack of multi-tasking
3) Flaky landscape mode on Windows and 3rd party apps
4) Only 1000-4000 apps available?
5) No Adobe Flash support
6) Even with AMOLED screen lower resolution versus iPhone4 and Droids

I know only one person that decided to get a Windows Phone 7 (ATT-Samsung) and he's a moron anyways.

Haha, I loved that comment . The worst thing of all is that you're just telling the truth.

Re: Rear suspension sound: Strut mounts?

Which one the "cloud" or the "moron" that works for me. On the latter the moron never serviced the autotransaxle in his '96 Cavalier and broke down 50 miles out of town. Then asked me to help him. The screen filter was clogged and it needed new ATF. 200K miles overdue. Also, I caught him checking engine oil level in the company F150 pickup while the engine was running.

Re: Rear suspension sound: Strut mounts?

Both actually XD. He must have been checking the engine oil level on the RED dipstick (where red stands for a HOT engine and yellow for cold LOL ).

Best regards,

Oscar.

3 dipsticks, the red one, yellow one, and the driver.

Re: Rear suspension sound: Strut mounts?

Damn!

I went to the "stealer" and they want ~$800 dlls (10400 pesos) just for the two struts and mounts!

Hell, no! I'll go with aftermarkets, I saw a place selling KYB brand but I was in a hurry, I'll go and check tomorrow.

Regards,

Oscar.

You'll be happy with the KYBs and they work fine on a GT/GTP. A little stiff at first but wear in nicely. Sure beats crappy aftermarkets like Monroe or Gabriel. At least you are not de-tuning the stock GT suspension system with KYBs.
