Car and Driver this month reported (theres even a short article about it in last months C&D) that VW is seriously considering bringing that over here. They're just trying to gauge interest in it here for now. Only it wont be called the 25th Annivesary Edition here since America has only had the GTI for 19 years. Regardless, I hope it comes here....0 to 60 in 6.2, and a sport tuned suspension and tires.....I want it so badly....

It's being called the 337 here
The have decided to bring 1500 over if I am correct, at about 23500$. Recaro seats, huge brakes, and lots of other addon's like the 18X7.5(Made special for this GTI!) BBS rims are included.

they dont offer the 25th anny here cause it has not been 25 years that the gti has been in the states. We do have a different version called the 337 which was the code name for the original rabbit gti b4 it was released. There is a ton of info on this on www.vwvortex.com...
