96 eclipse gst wont start
Hello everyone. Well I have a little huge problem. I have a 96 eclipse gst turbo. The engine blew last week and I swapped the entire engine with an engine from a 97 eclipse gst turbo. Now, my car won't start.
 my ecu is from my 96 eclipse. Am I missing anything? Do I need to swap ecu as well? Anything will help. I've checked everything and power seems to be going to coils, fuel pump works, plugs are new. I'm lost... please help.... |

Did the motor run before you swapped it into your car? Pull out a spark plug and check for spark while cranking. Make sure you are getting fuel pressure also. Odds are you either forget to hook something up or a connector isint making a good connection.
