'59 Chrysler New Yorker Restoration

My grandfather has a '59 New Yorker that he's had since June 15, 1960 (my birthday 31 years early!) and he decided he wanted to restore it completely stock except the window motors to roll the windows ^ and V. There were only 4 tiny 2-inch rust spots, each in the wheelwells under the fender.

here's a few pics chronologically of the whole ordeal!

PAINT BOOTH!! They used PPG paints, and they have an in-house sanding booth and paint booth. They mix all paints on spot with a qualified painter/mixer. This paint looks better than i can ever describe.

Located in Western North Carolina, they do AWESOME Work. If you need any job done, trust them. They've been through nova's, chevelles and falcons, gto's and etc.

I'll keep updating as we go on..

Re: '59 Chrysler New Yorker Restoration

I would love to see the pics. However, since the links do not work AND you have started a duplicate thread in the Chrysler sub forum, I have closed this thread.

In future, please do not open more than one thread on any one subject. It consumes server resources unnecessarily and irritates other AF participants.
