Xterra exhaust sounds like an Indy Car????
Why did a guy at a Midas tell me that if I put a cat back exhaust on my truck it would make it sound like an Indy car?? Is that an even remotely valid statement??? I wanted to get an exhaust because I wanted a low rumble out of it, I have my eye on the borla right now. I wanted a bit of feedback from anyone that replaced their exhaust system to see how it sounded from their point of view. Thanks.

Indy car huh.. thats pretty damn funny.
i am sure if they give you a rice rocket fart can muffler it would sound like that. the borla will give you the sound you are looking for, so will the gibson and the calmini.

try using the search function in the different forums. everything you can imagine has been covered on the exhaust topic.

the tip can be made to fit exactly how you want it. all you need is a cutting wheel.
most of them are close to the stock length.
