It's that, it appeared in 1994 and will be replaced in September by the C8, my parents have an Évasion HDI, the best minivan of his category, even today, but the design is not very original...

I knew what they are, they had a brief stint in NZ..........But they are pretty awful compared to mini-vans like Espace, Sharan, Galxy, Alhambra, Oddysey and Previa

I agree with you, the 806/Evasion/Ulysse and Zeta (the 4 "same" vans) are not nice, even if the restyling of 1999 was not bad. But it's a very good car (handling, not noise, very comfortable, etc.). We had an Opel Sintra before (same car as the Silhouette, Trans Sport and Venture) and it was not as good as the Évasion.

PS : sorry for my English which is not very fluent...

ah don't worry about the English thing, it is good to have an European member on these boards, anyeay I like the looks of the new C8 and am praying like hell it comes to NZ, either in Citroen, FIAT or Peugeot form

But still anything is better than a Sintra

Yes the Sintra (and his brothers) is not the best van, Espace, Voyager II, Sharan, Prévia, etc. are better.

Re: Re: whoppoooo!!!!!!!!

Between a Sintra 2.2dt and an Evasion 2.1dt, I would prefer the Evasion for the handling and pleasure of driving. The built quality is better on the Evasion. And if you can afford an Evasion Hdi, don't hesitate, it's an excellent engine.
But you've also to see the prices of these cars. In France, the Sintra is less expensive than the Evasion in second hand, so it can sometimes be interesting. But I don't know in Lithuania

Re: Re: Re: whoppoooo!!!!!!!!

Mainly there are used cars from Germany in Lithuania. Yes, the prices are better for Sintra. For me it is important the cargo space with 5 seats inside.

Re: Re: Re: Re: whoppoooo!!!!!!!!

My father has replaced his Sintra 2.2 GPL by an Evasion Hdi, the only thing I can tell you is that he does prefer much more the Citroën and he has also a problem of space inside.
