Re: Harley Davidson FLH Classic

today i've done the passenger foot-rest.. i've scratch them with plasticard and steel wire following the original-bike shape and the original dimensions.
i've detailed them with very thick copper wire reproducing the original knurling

Re: Harley Davidson FLH Classic

i covered the seat with synthetic leather and i painted the bike with ts-39 after a layer of gloss black. So I sprayed ts-13 to protect the color.

I am not a big fan of Harleys but I must admit this is one amazing model. The engine, the carb, the levers!... And great choice of bike colour. Keep us posted

thank you Ridefast!! the bike colour is a particular sequence of layers, starting with primer, gloss black, ts-39 (mica red) and ts-13.
it's a real existing color of harley used mainly on the touring bike..

Yes, I used real wood taken from an old wood fruit box.. But the original wood was really clear, so I painted it with acrylic brown.

The tiles are made up of cardboard.. They were cutted 2x1cm and glued one at a time using "vinavil".
So I've painted them with the same color of the wood and then shaded with light-tone and dark-tone of color.

At the end I passed a layer of dark gray to compact the color and recreate the shade of slate
