1988 caprice radio problems
well my problems is simple i dont wanna get to far into the dash and end up stuck. im trying to put a new radio in my car, but while examining the job before taking apart my dash i noticed the heater and ac control unit is all one peace with the radio. i tried undoing the 2 visible screwes but the unit wouldn't come out. i was wondering if anyone had installed an aftermarket radio themselves in a caprice and had any suggestions?

Re: 1988 caprice radio problems
If you look from the bottom up at the radio/HVAC controls, you should see two small screws that hold the two pieces together. Take those out and you should be good.
